Babyshower fun!

Gypsy Purple held a Babyshower for her daughter on Sunday. You all must know Ingre aka Pixi.... and it was such a special day, filled with lots of laughs and beautiful little baby things! Baby Nunu is due to arrive within about 7weeks, give or take a day or two, and we are all SO excited for this little one's arrival!

Mommy is looking beautiful, and glowing and has the most precious little tummy ever!

At last Nunu gave me a showstopper performance on Sunday, kicking evertime I kissed the tummy! Telling me: "Yeh, Nini, I know you're there, and I can't wait to meet you in person either!"

Isn't she lovely? This is Ny, ready to go to her school ball, and finished with school!

You looked stunning Ny! I wished I could have been there for this one, but I hope you know I was thinking of you, and I miss you terribly!

Littly Miss KittyCat.... aka Megan

So my cousin has officially enterend her 'Cat' fase. Megan, or more fondly nowadays called 'Kitty' wanted an new pic for her msn, so I decided to slap together something.

We actually had good laughs while the transformation from person to cat took place, but it turned out pretty cool!

The four names at the bottom of the design is the names of Emily the Strange's 4 cats... That's the other craze that's still in her system. The Emily the Strange fase.

But I enjoy it immensely to see her everyday, and peeling away all her personalities and impersonations.

Plus the outfits are just an adventure on its own!

Remembering - My Kitchen Tea.

The last couple of weeks I've been very nostalgic! Last year was one of the most exciting years of my life! I got married in August ... thus from about this time last year, it was one party after the other, Dress fittings, Hair trials, Shopping trips galore and I got to see almost ALL the family that lives overseas.

Then to top it all off, Twiggy from Doodles of my mind is getting married next year, and she is busy with all kinds of Wedding stuffs, so I've been remenesing about all the fun we had last year.

And it also just happens that last Saturday, a year ago it was my Kitchen Tea. I had heaps of fun! I thought I'd share some of it. They dressed me up like a "Kitchen Fairy" .... Did the most horrible thing to my face with make-up and then gave me heaps and heaps of very cool pressies!

Afterwards for the Bachelorette Party we went out to a club, and they made me wear my costume out! But we had loads of laughs, and I even went home with a couple of hundred bucks! (Yes... I HAD to beg for money!!!!) Good Times!

Pamper Party

This weekend, I had the girls over for some much needed winter pampering. We had loads of fun - Deidre, my sister-in-law/hairdresser came out and dressed everyone's hair. We did DIY manicures and pedicures, shaped eyebrows, sat around chatting and joking and just had loads of fun!

I think a good idea would be to start making this a more frequent event! What do you guys think? After all - it's so much fun spoiling yourself, but it's even more fun sharing it with the girls!!!

Pillow Talk

A blog-buddy once wrote a post about pillows, and the big influence it had on her sleeping routines... well, as I found out for myself... she was definitely right! I had some trouble sleeping a while back, waking up (with much trouble) with sore neck and shoulder muscles, pins and needled arms and puffy eyes (although, i think the puffy eyes could have been of watching the WHOLE 2nd season of Prison Break 2nd in one week!)

Well, last week, after much moaning about our pillows, hubby gave in and got 4 new soft-fluffy-puffy-cloudy-dreamy-pillows... wich has in turn gave me lots of happy sleeping nights!

Nini luvs Nunu

My cousin is about 3 months away from having a Nunubaby! We are all so excited, and can't wait for the little one's arrival. I saw mommy2be the weekend, and she is looking SO CUTE with her preggo tummy! I just wanted to keep on rubbing it and pressing my mouth to it and talking with little Nunu! Ofcourse I need to make sure that nunu recognizes my voice so when the day is here, Nunu will know when it's Nini talking!

I do, however, think I have a very calming effect on babynunu, because whenever I'm around, baby never kicks... and Nini SO wants to feel nunu move around inside that tumtum!

Ah, but I'll just have to be patient for another 3 months, then I'll be able to hold, and nuzzle and devour this little one! Until then, I'll just keep on handing out kisses... MWAH!!!

I want my mommy!!!!

I'm feeling just a little under the weather these past two days. Nothing hectic ... just a head filled with clay, with every sound sounding like a drill in my scull!

I've got a huge fever blister so eating and drinking is become a hassle, not that i'm tasting a lot right now anyhow!

Tried medicine last night, but it actually just made me feel worse, and I'm not even getting sympathy for husband at home! I'd love some faffing or something! Times like these I really miss being a kid in mommy's house!

By now I would have been in bed with a dose of some-or-other kind of flu remedy, a big hug and a check in every now and then!

But instead, I'm at work, with a sore back and neck and a hammer slamming away against my brain!

I'll just do 2min noodles tonight, and hope a good nights sleep will sort it out...

Back from a nice long weekend, and not feeling

as rested as I think I should actually feel

after a long weekend! We had too little sleep,

and too much travelling, but we had heaps of fun,

and the weather was really nice!

Long weekend break....

We've got another long weekend! Yep, and this one is an

extra day longer! We've got Freedom Day tomorrow

and Workers Day on tuesday...

and 'goodwill-from-the boss-day' on Monday!

So we are ..... taking a break and heading down to the sea

for 5 days of some RnR!

I'm really looking forward to it, and u guys can

look forward to a show-and-tell when I get back!
